Stockholm Waterfront sold to KLP

Pangea sell-side adviser to DNB Liv in landmark hotel transaction

In December, DNB Liv announced the divestment of landmark building Stockholm Waterfront. The hotel and congress property is located in central Stockholm, adjacent to Stockholm central station, and operated by Radisson Blu (Rezidor) on a long term lease. The hotel has 414 rooms and some 14,000 sqm of modern conference facilities with room for 3,000 visitors.

Stockholm Waterfront was acquired by KLP Eiendom for SEK 1.75bn. Pangea Property Partners was sell-side adviser to DNB Liv in the transaction, being the largest Swedish hotel transaction as well as the largest transaction in Stockholm CBD in 2015. Altogether, Pangea Property Partners advised on approximately 50 deals in 2015 with an underlying property.
